The owner of this established market research and consultancy
business came to us having seen our work for the Association for Qualitative
Research. He wanted to expand into different areas and, to do so, needed
help finding a new company name and image.
We chose the name Turnstone a bird that searches under stones to
find food. A bird icon was too obvious, so we opted for an image of a
landscape and turned the centre of the letter O to suggest a pebble. The
concept is subtle yet distinctive and memorable and reflects the
